[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the gel pens in Black and Red, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. My everyday, go-to gel pen is the Pilot G2, which takes from 1-2 seconds to dry. As a result, when I'm taking notes in class, my writing sometimes smear. However, I decided to take the Black Ink Joy gel pen in 0.7mm to class one day and see if my notes will smear like the G2.
I noticed that the ink on the Ink Joy is very similar to that of the G2, but the Ink Joy gel pens dried significantly faster. After noticing this, I tried the Ink Joy on several surfaces, including my table and a smooth, glossy flyer. Although it smeared on those two surfaces, the Ink Joy gel did not smear on many other.
I also write hard. This means that when I press too hard, the head might leave an ink blob on my paper. However, I noticed that Ink Joy did not do that at all. Writing hard also means i grip my pen hard. And the grip of the pen is not that comfortable. It's a bit too wide for me. But then again, I have small hands. Additionally, the grip doesn't have dents for my fingers to fall into. As a result, this leaves a dent in my fingers instead.
The Ink Joy colors in Black and Red are great and vivid, leaving a nice glide to my writing.
Random fact: The clicking mechanism is strong and loud, producing a nice sturdy click to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the fun and bright colors these pens come in. The is new & different compared to other pens you buy. Also they leave a spot on them where you can see how much ink is still in them. I like the full grip on them as well it feels better than ones that don't have it. They don't smear when writing and they don't bleed through paper either.
