I grew up with this, and love drinking it right before bedtime or when I'm feeling sick and need to relax. It's so soothing, and all the ingredients work great together. My kids love it too. : D
Pros: Soothing, High Quality, Convenient, Fresh, Aromatic
I'm not a fan of the plain chamomile, but the additional flavours that infuse this tea make it so much better! I'm personally limited to herbal teas, so in the sparse selection, this is definately one of my favourite flavours
I have never been a fan of tea of any kind but this one was in my sample pack so I figured I would try it especially since i don't sleep well and it is called sleepy time. I don't like it
I decided to drink this the night before a baseball tryout to make me sleep better and feel more energized the next day. I mixed in a spoonful of sugar and sipped it once. It was gross. I didn't drink the rest and I got a headache afterwards. The rest of my family tried it and also hated it.
This is a great wind down your day tea. It could be considered weak if you like powerful teas. I think it's perfect. I'm not a big tea drinker. But I love this tea.
Just the right amount of tea leaves are used in the K-cup to make a perfect cup of tea, not too weak or strong. And the tea had so much flavor I was even able to use the same K-cup for a second cup without losing any quality or flavor. I believe the K-cup brews an even better cup than a teabag.
Pros: Convenient, Aromatic, Fresh, Soothing, Unique Flavor Profile, Smooth Body
I love CS Sleepytime tea k-cups. I've tried this same brand and flavor in tea BAGS, but the flavor was inconsistent, unbalanced, and stale. I've tried all kinds of herbal teas, but I've always gone back to sodas, just finding them to be tastier and more consistent. And I'm not a fan of mint. I believe that it is often used to hide objectional flavors. But when I tried the Sleepytime tea in k-cups, it was such a treat that I haven't bought soda since. The flavor is so balanced and full, even at 12oz plus ice, it tastes as if a British gourmet chef prepared it from herbs just hand-selected from the garden. I brew one k-cup with 12oz of water, mix in a bit of stevia for sweetness, then add ice to fill up a 20-ounce cup. The flavors are full without being harsh. The k-cups keep the ingredients fresh, the Keurig dispenses water at the perfect rate and temperature for bringing out the flavors perfectly, and Celestial Seasonings' quality control is good- EVERY cup is just as soothing and delicious as the last. I should mention that I'm a food and flavor chemist, trained to be picky and critical regarding flavors and quality control. That's why I rarely review foods or drinks outside of work. This is the most glowing praise I have EVER given to a product that I didn't develop. ;) Bottom line: I have nothing negative to say- both adults and kids should try this tea. There's no caffeine, and the taste is simply wonderful.
Pros: Aromatic, Unique Flavor Profile, Fresh, Makes Full 12oz Plus Ice, High Quality, Soothing
When I saw this in the sample pack that came with my Keurig I figured I'd save it for a time when I really needed sleep. I'm not a big tea drinker and thought it'd be weird-tasting but might have soothing effects anyways. But I didn't expect to like it so much! The flavor is really good - tasty but not "too much" (I like the very-subtle spearmint - just enough and not too strong). AND it has a very calming effect on me too, which helps me sleep. This was the first box of K-Cups I bought for myself. I get wired from my busy job so I now drink it most nights!
