I was looking for gel pens to use and came across the Tru Red during a store visit. I didn't know that Staples came up with a new brand. I bought a first set of gel pens to test it out. The gel pens are great. The ink dries quickly and the writing is smooth. I have not experienced any dryness from the pen. In addition since it is a great gel pens I bought 4 more packs of it. I often use Pentel Energel Pens but it is quite expensive. Now with the Tru Red gel pens it is a good alternative for me to choose to buy.

Though these work fine they are annoying because they are shorter and have a cheap feel when using especially as compared to the discontinued Staples brand I really loved. Replacing those with these is a mistake.
