For the longest time I have used Gelocity by BIC and now I have switched to TRU RED because your store no longer carries the BIC. As a substitute for the BIC it is fine though not as fancy ( it does not show ink usage or have a rubber grip). I will continue to buy the TRU RED as a substitute because I only use gel pens. I would recommend this product to others.

These pens are amazing and don't come with a ridiculous price-tag like many specialty pens do. They're sleek and simple! They write very well and dry quickly. I use them to color code my planner and due dates (I work in marketing so it's important I keep track of events deadlines etc.) but I haven't tried writing out entire pages with these. Sometimes they are a little inconsistent with how much ink comes out if you haven't used that color in a while but generally they start flowing again without difficulty or clogging! I definitely recommend these!

It is common for me to love a pen in the package and later as a left handed person have to make decisions as to whether to keep my newest pen and accept the marking and stain on my hand or try to find a replacement. The TRU RED was purchased as a possible replacement to other pens- yet so far has remained this lefty’s friend. Our relationship has been a quick drying one and we are happily writing together

I was disappointed with these pens. To much ink. They don’t write fine more ball point if you like ball point you may like this pen.
