So far I use my pen for work the pen works great on most standard papers providing a consistent line with little pressure needed to apply the ink and it dries quickly. However I have had instances of ink seeping from the casing at the tip getting a decent amount of ink on my hands I'm not sure what causes it and I have only used one pen so far and it only happens sometimes. As an aside the pen does not do so well on slicker papers most notably receipt paper (which most pens don't work well with). In conclusion for the price the pen works very well I will buy again just keep an eye out for rogue ink still not sure if this is normal.
These pens were great for a few days within a week two of them completely dried out and I can’t write with them anymore. I’m very disappointed because they were not cheap.
I am one of those those extremely picky pen people who is always searching for the perfect pen. I came across the Tru Red gel pens recently and they are as close to perfect as I’ve found. The ink is smooth and consistent. The full rubber grip is great when writing or just holding during meetings. The pocket clip is sturdy and looks nicer in the pocket than many of the other cheap clips found on the popular big name brand pens. So far I really like everything about this pen. I hope Staples / Tru Red keeps making them!
I really like how fast they dry and the way they write. I'm a Phlebotomist (draws blood) and I write on tubes all day. I used to use Sharpie markers but lately was not liking the way they write. So I was looking for something to replace and I needed new pens and saw these and decided to try them. I was using them just to write then tried on the tubes and they write beautiful.
