It's not a glamorous instrument but--for writing smoothness and clarity of line... it beats the pants off the twice-as-expensive pretty gel pens I've been using. Also--and important "also": the pen tips stay clean and dry. (The others always seemed to accumulate ink around the tip.... that could less to stains.
