They were a bit small for arthritic hands. After removing the tab it was hard to completely remove the plastic. The pen was smother writing when the plastic piece wore off. I would recommend it for a younger group of students.

The purple gel pen is just about the greatest thing in this package. The other colors are very legible except the green. I wish it had been a tad darker- not a true green but not as vibrant. My customers can't read what I wrote in my letters when I use it (yes I'm under 30 and write letters to clients). Other than that these were a fantastic find.

Love the way these pens write however after a week they stop gliding. The ink doesn’t flow smoothly after a few days so I am getting an inconsistent writing. Almost seems like there is something blocking the ball so it doesn’t allow the ink to come through. It’s happened in all the pens in both backs I’ve purchased so it doesn’t seem to just be a fluke.
