I’m a college soccer coach and need a quick drying pen that performs well in various outdoor conditions. These pens write smoothly and most importantly dry quickly. These are the pens I always have with me. Two thumbs up.

Was disappointed in the Tru Red version of the gel pen. Not a smooth flow as I've been accustom to with other brands. If you need a variety of colors it will do. I had to play with pens a while to get a consistent flow since it comes packaged with a coating on the tip that needs to be removed before use.
