In order to put more related items together in one file folder I find it more acceptable to use the box bottom file folders. They are available in letter and legal sizes to accommodate one's needs. Pleased that Staples has them.

I actually returned the box. I used eleven of the folders and they all tore! Staples gave me credit for the whole box to their credit - but I can't recommend the product.

I recently refinanced my home and most of the documents were legal sized. Try putting those in a standard file. Now I have all of my mortgage paperwork in one file box that fits up on a shelf but I can easily find what I'm looking for.
