Wonderful for Manilla Folders!

I received my hanging file folders the next day! Very happy with the swiftness of my order. I use the 1" 2" and 3" for my business. They store my manilla files really well. Before having them my manilla files kept sliding in the metal cabinet. The only thing SMEAD could improve on is making the metal hanging brackets connected to the folder a little more permanent. After a year or so the metal hanging bracket(s) have come loose and have fallen out of the folder. I use packaging tape and a stapler to secure the metal braket. A little repair keeps the folder lasting.

These extra capacity hanging folders are great. All hanging folders should be made like these. Before I found these my hanging files were a big mess with the papers falling out and not hanging correctly in the drawer. These files hold a lot of papers and also hang well in the cabinet. They are a bit costly if you need hundreds but for small volume these are ideal. I did not give five stars because the files are a bit costly.

The only problem is that sometimes and I know it is due to weight the glue gives out and I have to staple the folder back around the hanging bar.

Staples Box Bottom Hanging File Folders

The Staples Box-Bottom Hanging File folders by Smead are sturdy. The 2" box bottom makes it nice when you have more than just a couple of sheets of paper to file. Nice for filing owners manuals. Once you fold to the size you want -- the size stays there. They are thick and does not rip when you go to pull the folder out of the file drawer. Although they may come in other colors the green is a standard green and professional looking. There are also larger folding files made by Smead. Two inches is an average size at times I prefer the 4 inch ones.
