40 pounds causes it to buckle and the legs forces the sides to expand and make the legs fall away from the unit. Leg structure became bent.

I bought this table to use as a side table while I telework during the COVID-19 pandemic. It came with no assembly instructions and it took me until the next day to finally figure it out. Once assembled I realized it was too small and not as sturdy as I expected.

I needed a small table because I was suddenly told I was to "work from home". The store was out of card tables (which I really wanted) and the closest thing was this table. I holds my laptop w/ an oversized monitor on a box behind it not really room for anything more. I wish the store had one on display before I bought the table so I could really see the size once it was set up.
