I purchased these to hold bulky items in a hanging folder. These work great. I'm happy to see they provide cardboard rectangles to help hold the box bottom in shape. works well.

Great for Overloaded Offices and Families!

I worked for an oil company that had to keep a file on each contractor they did business with The files built up so fast that we ended up having to keep several folders for each. We came across these hanging boxes through a supply company we used. These literally saved our office. They reduced the space our files took up cleared the mess of tons of folders and were super sturdy. I instantly feel in love with these. So I bought some for my home to store the kids school work and health files. My file cabinets look so much more organized. The greatest thing the sturdiness will make them last forever at least with five kids.... I am hoping for that:)

The flat bottom hanging folders are space savers and save weight from several smaller folders without the flat bottom. They also allow the manila file folders to rest uniformly on the bottom so the labeled tabs don't get bent as I open and close the drawer. Wish I had gotten these sooner.

I would have given a 5 Star but they don’t fit well in a plastic portable file box. (They drag and slide back)I am sure there wouldn’t be a problem in a metal type filing cabinet.The product itself is very sturdy and when you fold the bottom to fold out flat the file really holds a lot of documents.

These folders simply don't form that sharp bottom edge seen in the pictures. The file folders we place in them simply push them down into a curve. The only way to make these look like that would be a fair amount of creasing and hand work but the thin cardboard support would need to be glued in I suppose. We returned these (because we already had a box from a year or two ago languishing in the office) and replaced them with others with accordion-style sides. We are finding useful expansion folders are tough to find.

Great for large files

I wasn't aware these were available. They have a flat bottom so they can fit many pages in the folder. They come with a cardboard bottom to keep the bottom flat. These folders are great if you have a lot to file and want to keep it all in one hanging file folder.
