Bought them because of the spring loaded feature which keeps them more firmly in place. The increase in friction holds the file folders quite well.

I wrote a lengthy review earlier so I hope this review gets through. These 2" box files had flimsy cardboard strips for the buyer to insert on the bottom. The cardboard strips were not very functional. I cut my own heavier strips and double stick taped them to the box bottoms. I would have returned the files but time was a factor so altered them to make them functional. Staples service was good - mailed in a timely fashion. Everything else was acceptable but I ordered them specifically for the box bottom and that was NOT satisfactory.

They look better online than in person. It maybe due the lighting. I bought this for work. to brighten up the cabinet and to color code filed documents. Hopefully it will hold up for at least one year. I gave it 3 stars normally I wait 30 to 90 days depending upon the product before giving a review. I learned that anytime before that would be too soon.
