great for those larger files or manuals you want to keep all together in one place wish the cardboard insert on the bottom was a little sturdier or a heavier cardboard folder tends to warp on the bottom. I have also noticed my older and I mean ones that are 5 plus years are made of a heavier card stock type paper. not sure this folders will hold up as long but for the price there is definitely a perceived value. the metal slat supports are very sturdy and they do not bend under the weight of the files.

Oh no my files are protruding up too high!... One day while reordering my supplies low and behold expanded bottom hanging files. I have to try it. I love them! I can file one category in one section. I can just pull out the entire file and go with it. EXCELLENT!

These wider bottoms come with an insert to keep larger bundles of sheet music settled evenly in the hanging file. This prevents pegs from sliding out of place and rubbing on sides or tops of file drawers.

Instead of cramming too much paper into an ordinary file folder try one of these gems. You simply insert a cardboard spacer into the bottom of the folder then you have a good amount of space for easy access to your stored material. It has worked well for me.
