I like the feel and quick dry technology of this pen. It works well and is smudge free in my all-weather notebook but the refills do not last very long. I only use it sporadically throughout the day and might get a few weeks or a month out of one refill. Put more ink into the refill and I will think about using it more and more. Was thinking about trying the G-350 and G-402 because they appear to be nicer pens but will hold off for now. Maybe refills in the NEW G-450 and G-750 will last longer. Certainly like the look of those as well.
Purchased the G301. Loved how it wrote. Ran out of ink a bit fast, but I didn't give it much thought. Ordered refills and received them March 6th, 2021. Began using the pen again to fill out a handful of hand-written invoices (about 300 words MAX) and now? As of March 12th, 2021 - a mere 6 DAYS LATER - the refill is COMPLETELY EMPTY. Your pens are pricey to begin with but I've always been loyal to the F301 series, preferring the G series for the better quality but you CANNOT seriously market a pen whose ink lasts only 6 days of LIGHT use, can you? Lesson learned, although I'm still in disbelief.
Bought a 4pk on Saturday the 9th. Used the first pen on Monday morning, by Wednesday evening it was out of ink. Used for reports at work. Can write reports in back of a bouncing ambulance. Ink life not so much...
When new, lines are crisp and dark. After time, it will appear as if you are running out of ink even though there is visible ink in the barrel of the cartridge. I never had a problem with these pens drying out in the past (I have been using them for about 15 years) and I believe there is a flaw in the roller ball or cartridge. I came here to look for an alternative pen.
This pen writes really nicely, but it ran out of ink within two weeks of purchase, which is crazy fast considering I didn't even use it daily. Will not be buying again.
This pen was amazing for about 2 days! Then it ran out of ink. I have similar pens that last months at work and see the same amount of activity. This pen is a complete ripoff!
