The bold point made my writing stand out on the page yet still left clean consistent lines each and every time I use it. The ergonomic grip made writing with it rather comfortable and I found it easy to hold for long periods of time great if you're taking a lot of notes and have to hold a pen all day. I also really like that it's retractable no pen caps to fall off and ink get all over everything or you lose the cap. I will definitely be purchasing these pens again in the future.

Great gel pens with a fun bold point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Staples ProGel pens are great for everyday use. They write smoothly the ink is a rich blue color and I like the bolder point. The pen felt comfortable in my hand and the cushioned grip was a nice feature. And the best part—I did not notice any smudging or running ink at all! I’d definitely recommend these.

Smooth Ink Flow with Comfortable Grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pen had a smooth run of ink flowing as you write leaving all letters the same depth of ink and darkness. The grip made it comfortable in your hand and has a no slip aspect to the rubber. As with most gel pens they can smudge after writing this was not the case. The ink seemed to dry quickly. I enjoyed using this pen and will happily continue to do so.

Comfortable to Write With

The ink comes out easily although once in a while it will miss some ink when writing with it. The blue ink is bold in color and dries very quickly. Even rubbing the ink after using the pen right away it did not smudge at all. These pens are a great value for the price.

The color pops on the page and adds a nice touch of personality to everyday writing. The pen delivers a consistently smooth writing experience free from skipping or blotting resulting in clean and precise lines. The pen also has a quality look and feel. It’s sleek and well-balanced and the retractable feature works very well. I especially appreciate the comfortable rubber finger grip which makes long writing sessions much easier on the hand. The real test came when my husband—who is left-handed—used it. To our surprise the ink didn’t smudge at all. That’s a rare win for a gel pen and makes this one a great option for lefties too.
