The ink dries almost instantly! The grip is so comfortable I could write for hours! I would recommend this bold retractable gel pen to everyone!

The perfect lefty pen exists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a teacher so I’m using pens pretty much all day—grading planning notes—and the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens have quickly become my absolute favorite. I first used one at a work conference and every time someone borrowed it they asked where they could get one. That kind of reaction says a lot! The bold line is smooth sharp and just looks great on the page. What really impressed me is how consistent the ink is—no skipping at all—which is huge for me since I’m left-handed. These pens made it through grading multiple final projects without any issues. Plus the ink dries fast so no annoying smudges on my hand while I’m writing. They’re super comfortable too—the ergonomic grip feels just right so even when I’m writing for a long time my hand doesn’t get tired or cramp up. Honestly these pens have totally replaced all my old favorites. If you’re picky about your pens or just need something reliable for heavy use give these a try—you won’t regret it.

Great Replacement for Pilot G2 Pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens look feel and write just as good (if not better) than the Pilot G2 pens. Same fine point at 0.7mm smooth glide and ink responsiveness on paper (but at a more affordable price!). I like the comfort grip being more ergonomic than the Pilot version so if you need that extra contoured fit for your fingers this pen is for you. The red ink was also brighter compared to others—like a bright red lipstick so just stands out better IMO. Overall worth a try if you need a substitute for or just don’t want to spend more. Great job Staples!

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that these gel retractable pens give you a nice smooth stroke. I found that they don’t bleed through or smear like other gel pens. These give a nice blue color. I found these to be one of the best gel pens I have used in a long time. And they are easy to have in the office and also in my purse. I also really appreciate the cushion so that my fingers can write in comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens Bold Point 1.0mm Black Ink 5/Pack. I usually stick to name brand pens but this pen surprisingly was great! It wrote great smooth and continuous without any issues. The black bold font was great! I tried them out at work where I use a lot of pens filling out paperwork and never had an issue with the pen not writing or working properly. I liked the bold point pen and wasn’t too overly bold. The end clicked as it should. The rubber grip was comfortable to grasp and use without any problems or discomfort. I would recommend others to try the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens Bold Point 1.0mm Black Ink 5/Pack.

Finally no smeering

The bold tip works especially well with my large bubbly handwriting — it stays smooth and legible with no blobs or skipped lines. I'm right-handed but still struggle with ink smearing. This pen dries literally the moment it touches the paper! I work in the medical field and became super picky about my pens after writing chart after chart of patient notes. This one does not disappoint — it’s comfortable to use and holds up to long assignments. If you're someone who likes a pen that writes boldly and clearly then the Staples Pro Gel Bold point is a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Writes very smoothly. There is no interruption in ink flow so it’s become my go-to pen when editing documents. The ink glides easily on the paper and there isn’t any excess when starting or ending use. I typically prefer finer points but this pen writes so seamlessly I don’t mind the thicker point. The grip is comfortable and the clicking sound is so satisfying every time.
