The Coffee Lover's Decaf

I've had to switch to a mostly decaf diet for health reasons, but love a bold coffee flavour. Most other companies seem to make only medium roast decafs (even though they call them bold). I haven't tried them all yet, but this is the only one that has not disappointed me. Though it's still not as tasty as the caffeinated variety, it is still good enough to be my favourite decaf so far. It is strong enough for use in lattes, and is still bold when using the 12 oz. setting on my maker.
I really like this one, but only gave it a 4 because I have had the caffeinated version and it tasted sooooo much better. I am supposed to drink decaf for health reasons, but my quest to find a decaf that is indistiguishable from regular continues.
I can only drink decaf (for health reasons) but love the taste of a good bold coffee. The Dark Magic Decaf Extra Bold is as good as it gets. It's bold while not bitter, as many of the other bold coffees are, and it's a real treat.
'Go bold or go home' I always say. Alas, I also say 'I shouldn't have had that cup of coffee *right* before bed' This is the perfect solution! Very rich, bold taste in a decaf. I can enjoy anytime without compromising taste.
I used to live off of caffeine then noticed it controlled me and I didn't like that. So, I have decafinated myself. I still love the taste of coffee, so I am on my quest to find the perfect decaf and this is pretty darn close! I brewed a 10oz cup of this Dark Magic and had to re-read the label to make sure it was decaf. It is very bold, so much so that I added another 6 oz of hot water to dilute it some and it was still bold and flavorful. Definately not for the weak Folgers drinker. Enjoy!
I like bold coffee, but I have to drink decaf to sleep at night. Dark Magic roast is my breakfast coffee. I savour the aroma. I am never disappointed by the taste. It is a wake up call.
