This coffee will certainly change your mind about decaf! I love bold coffees but as I've gotten older, I realize that I cant take in as much caffeine. This taste is awesome, You cant tell that its decaf! :)
I've tried about 20 kinds of Keurig, and this is the best. It's so wonderful to find a decaf that's as good as a $4.50 cup at a well known coffee emporium. Strong but not bitter. Did I mention that I love this one?
No way anyone could tell this is decaf! Bold, rich, a little on the tart side, but that's what you'd sometimes expect with a bold dark roast coffee. Fantastic with cream. Great for evening to wind down for the night without worrying about staying up with the nocturnals!
This is one of my very favorites. If you dislike weak coffee, then this is a good pick for you too! I may choose decaf, but I like my coffee to have a robust and deep coffee flavor. If you brew this as an espresso, it also works well over ice (even with milk for a latte.)
I drink coffee throughout the day but after 2pm I need decaf. Through Keurig I have discovered the dark bold roasts which I have come to love, but finding a decaf with the same rich flavor was difficult. Dark Magic Decaf has filled that need. It is decaf that definitely doesn't taste decaf. I occassionally use the travel mug size (16 oz.) and still get a strong flavor from the coffee. As long as they make this coffee I will be ordering it.
I've been having a lot of fun trying out my new Keurig. After sampling about a dozen different coffees, I can say that Green Mountain's Dark Magic Decaf is one of the best I've tasted. I don't normally drink decaf and bought this for company, but I gave it a shot since I was having a late evening cup. This definitely packs a punch. Rich, full bodied with a hint of smokiness. This brew is not for the weak of heart. It was perfectly bold even after brewing an extra large mug (Med + Sm in one cup). A generous splash of half & half made for a satisfying cup of coffee. A keeper!
