Most decaf coffees are medium roast. Dark Magic Decaf has a bold taste that I prefer.

I get this for my mother who can't tolerate caffeine due to heart conditions . She LOVES coffee and honestly if it weren't for this decaf, she would defy MD orders and drink caffeinated. We both love the original caffeine version of Dark Magic and luckily found this in decaf. So having this on hand literally is helping her heart! Ok, maybe a stretch but it's great, both in flavor and aroma. I drink caffeine but I have accidently popped this into the brewer and couldn't tell the difference until I went to make the second cup of my morning and discovered the decaf pod looking up at me.

I like dark roast coffees, and I use decaf mostly. This one lets me brew 16 oz with one k-cup and still be strong enough to handle some French vanilla creamer. This is a good one!
