Tastes like a real cup of coffee!

This brew is my favorite K Cup thus far. It actually tastes like a good cup of coffee, unlike most others I have tried that are watery and lack flavor. I guess you can count on Starbucks and the roast that built their business.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste
I would recommend this to a friend!

Expensive

I'm not a huge Starbucks fan to begin with but this isn't bad but it's not that much better to justify the price; if the cost came down I'd keep a box on hand. For now I'll stick with cheaper alternatives. I must say that it is less watery feeling than others, the k-cup seems to have a larger filter with more grounds in it than some other brands.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity
Cons: Over roasted, Cost
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pike Place Medium Roast

I sampled Pike Place black at three cup settings, (7.25 oz), 5.25 oz, and 3.25 oz. The recommended cup setting for Pike is regular (7.25 oz). At this setting, I found the coffee to be flat (no acidity), thin (no body), and watery with little aroma and flavor. It wasn't drinkable for me but those who like Dunkin Donuts or McDonald's coffee may enjoy Pike at this setting. The 5.25 oz setting delivered an acceptable brew that was flavorful, and aromatic, still not a lot of body, but more so than at the regular setting. The 3.25 oz cup setting produced a slightly bitter brew with pronounced floral aroma, flavor, acidity, and it was my preferred cup setting. Pike isn't a bad coffee if you prefer a less robust brew. My husband likes it and prefers the regular cup setting, he doesn't care for the bolder brews, and he didn't care for Pike at the other settings. For those who enjoy robust and rich brews like Sumatra, Verona, or Kitamu (not available in K-Cups) Pike will be disappointing unless you use the smaller cup settings, which isn't economical. Being a bold coffee drinker, I would give Pike three stars, however, my husband who enjoys a medium roast coffee thinks Pike delivers and deserves at least four stars. Recommended for those who like medium roast coffee.
Pros: Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body

I love this well-balanced medium roast, has been my favorite along with the Christmas blend for a long time. Thank you Keurig and Starbucks for joining your talents to bring us excellent coffee at home or work.
