A Fantastic Medium Colombian Roast

I absolutely love a medium roast Colombian coffee. I tend not to gravitate towards dark roast coffees because I enjoy espresso more than a dark roast coffee, so I was glad to see that Folgers made this particular variety. The name of this brew is very fitting - "Lively Colombian." It truly captures the essence of how I would describe this coffee. It is bold, but not excessively. It is very smooth and has a distinct Colombian taste. This is one of my favorite brews. It is what I tend to go with when I have a lot of work to do or I need a good pick me up for the day. Get it!

This looked promising..until we had other much better coffee K-Cups..the plastic aftertaste of this roast was very noticeable.. not bad aroma but it's hard to ignore the aftertaste.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although Folger's coffee is not viewed as upscale, gourmet, I find this version, lively Colombian, to be the best. I like a rich but smooth flavor, not bitter, not too smooth or sweet. After trying many flavors, this coffee is still the most reliable, especially brewed by K-cup. I did review Black Silk and was disappointed. Just so you know, I hate Starbucks coffee although I have had it brewed in a hotel where it was drinkable, so my taste is not for bitter coffee.
Pros: Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Roast
I would recommend this to a friend!

MY HUSBAND I LOVE THIS COFFEE AND WOULD OR MORE LIKE IT IN MORE K-CUPS PER PACKAGE 24 IS JUST NOT ENOUGH FOR US. WOULD LIKE THE 96 OR MORE
I picked this up at a local store after I (gasp) ran out of other K-cups. Most of the others on the shelf were just unappealing or were Starbucks (always unappealing to me). I wasn't hoping for a lot and got exactly what my expectations were. Nothing special. I do like lightly roasted coffees, especially for the first cup of the day. To it's credit, the Lively Columbian fills the bill there. It is not acidic nor does it have an after taste, there is just nothing remarkable - much like ground Folgers out of a can, just basic coffee. Also to it's credit, it doesn't taste bad like a few K-cups I've tried so I will continue to drink it until I receive my favorite morning coffee, Foglifter by Millstone.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast
Cons: Unremarkable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Without a doubt my favorite coffee. Perfect. If you don't at least try it, you could be missing out.
