[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these uniball gel pens! The 3 pack come in 3 colors - black, red, and blue which is great for a variety of different writing tasks. These pens write very smoothly without smudging on paper. You can't go wrong with these!

It writes good, however there was some kind of crud on the top of all three that had to be removed before it actually did write. I don’t believe it was a protective tip because it literally looked like dried up crust.
