Twice I received a damaged desk too frustrated to return again and risk a third having the same damage and having to go to the mail center with heavy package to return myself to avoid fee for UPS to pick up at my own home. Also first desk had defective leg support whereby I couldn't thread the foot support in rendering it unusable. Laminate on desk also has dents and scratches throughout.
One the brackets that hold up the keyboard tray didn’t line up with the drill holes. An awl or drill is needed to drill a hole in the appropriate spot on the bottom of the desk top.
My new desk looks beautiful and because I didn't measure the space beforehand (nor pay attention to measurements on the website!) its a lot bigger than I reckoned! I still love it and it feels very prosperous to have all this room to move around in. There is space for my hulking printer-fax-scanner shelves and slide out shelf for my laptop. Feels great to be working on the computer on the left side and just move over to the other side of the "L" to write without moving anything. Rich cherry color and contrasting black metal end details and legs. Speaking of legs - they are oval not straight so there is more visual interest. Makes it easy to get down to work! And the desk was a cinch to put together - very easy to follow directions
I got this desk because I saw that episode of The Office where Dwight puts several single desks together to make one “Megadesk” and I thought it would be cool to have. It was fairly easy to put together and adjust if I made a mistake it is good quality. It’s sturdy and I like using it. I really enjoy my megadesk.
I needed an L shaped desk so that I could easily work from home. The rep at the store helped me locate one they had in the storage room as there were none on the floor. While simple the desk meets my needs and seems quite sturdy. I like the keyboard tray but wish it was deeper so the keyboard can be angled. The work area is large enough for dual monitors.
