I was looking for a new desk as my old one was getting too cramped for my work-at-home setup. I specifically wanted a spacious L-shaped desk so I could have a side for my personal laptop and a side for my work laptop and extra monitor plus room for general office supplies. A lot of other desks I found online were asymmetrical or too narrow. Both sides of this desk are approximately 24" deep giving me plenty of available surface. Like some other reviews I found the instructions a bit confusing which is why this doesn't get 5 stars. There were multiple steps combined into the same picture. It took a friend and me a couple of hours to get it assembled. You basically build each side separately and then join them with the corner piece when they're both upright so you don't have to flip the whole thing over. I really liked that the slide for the keyboard drawer was already put together because I've had issues with that on other pieces of furniture. It's also not clear in the description but the two main boards are identically drilled so you can put the keyboard tray on either side which is nice. Another downside is that due to the way the support bars are placed there's not as much room for storage underneath as I expected. It's not a big deal for me but that may be something else to take into consideration. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. So far it's been sturdy and doesn't feel as cheaply-made as my previous desk. The finish did get a little chipped while we were putting it together but it's not really noticeable. Overall I would recommend this product.
