I was looking for a simple low cost "L" shaped desk for a home office - one side for writing the other for my laptop. Also did not want any drawers... Prefer an open modern look. This desk met the need nicely for a reasonable cost. While not solid wood the top is sturdy & the embedded nuts on the underside did a good job of anchoring the top to the sturdy steel legs. Installation was straightforward but some of the picture instructions could have shown better details. Staging the layout in the room was helpful to understand the assembly. I would recommend this desk.

Its fine. Does a good job at being a desk. Not hard to put together but not all pieces line flush with each other. Also sometimes the corners feel a little rough and scratchy.
