Assembling furniture is not my favorite thing to do. I'm a 60 something year old woman and I assembled this desk with relative ease. You must read the instructions look for the numbers on each piece of the desk and lay out all the pieces and screws/bolts. If you have patience and follow the instructions this is an easy desk to put together. I am extremely pleased with the way it looks and its size. I would recommend it.
