I was very excited when I found out Folgers was making K-cups! I love the Black Silk, bold and smooth and a great pick me up in the morning. Just love it!
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter

Dark and Smooth

This has become My every day coffee. The bold yet smooth taste defenantly gives your taste buds the sense of laying on Black Silk Sheets. The low acidity of the brew ensures an easy stomach when drinking all day and rarely interferes with the taste of other foods.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter

When I first heard Folgers was coming out with a K-Cup I was really expecting another bland and weak offering. I have always thought of Folgers as just another mainstream supermarket variety coffee but my curiosity got the better of me so I picked up a 12 pack of the Black Silk dark roast to see what it was like. I use the medium cup setting when I brew and to my surprise it makes a fairly good cup of Joe. Full flavored and smooth with a nice aroma. One of the better K-Cups I have had. Won't become my every day morning brew but I most likely will keep some on hand to sample on occasion and as an offering to guests.

I've always liked Folgers coffee in other brewers but this stuff is terriable. No taste and weak. It reminds me of very bad gas station coffee.
Pros: Name only
Cons: Bland tasteless
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You would think it would be strong and bold by it's name, but it's perfect. It taste so great and keeps me going throughout the morning.

The word SILK is a perfect name. This brew is so smooth. I would like a little more of a morning jolt. If you could combine the BAM! from Jet Fuel with the silkiness of this brew, you would have a perfect marriage.
Pros: ultra smooth, BOLD
Cons: Not quite bold enough
