If you like a coffee that isn't overly strong and no flavor added this is a nice wake up cup

Found this to be my favorite unflavored coffee. Doesn't upset my stomach. Has an excellent aroma.
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste, Balanced Acidity

"Black silk" sounds like a great coffee. It isn't. It's just blah-tasting. That "subtle smoky taste" that Folgers claims it has is too subtle to notice. Nothing to this coffee, really.
Cons: No Depth Or Complexity, Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very smooth and flavorful coffee. It doesn't have the bitter taste that a lot of bold flavors have. Several friends and family have tried it at my house and have all liked it. Many have said they're very surprised at how good it is. If you like a super-bold cup of dark coffee, I wouldn't recommend this. However, if you like a well-balanced dark roast with a smooth, flavorful taste, this is perfect!
