Great Morning Coffee

After recieving keurig as a gift for Christmas, I have acted like a kid in a candy store. I've tried every one of the coffees that came with my machine, including some of the coffees I had in trial packets including the Black Silk. It was great. This morning I went and picked up a box of the Black Silk and I am now hooked. I was suprised that in the K-cup version I had as much flavor as in doing it on my own. Black Silk is the perfect name for this coffee. It has a very smooth taste.
From the name, I figured the blend would be dark and smooth but even with using only 6 ounces of water, the coffee was ordinary. Didn't seem like a dark roast at all. Would not buy again.
Pros: Not Bitter
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor, Roasted Too Light
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First let me say I'm very sad that green mountain discontinued their espresso blend k cup...that was my favorite by far...thank goodness for Folgers black silk! Great runner up. Very smooth for a extra bold coffee. I really like it!
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love a good bold coffee?

This coffee, if you are a true coffee lover, is one of the best bold, dark roast coffees I have tasted in a while. Unless you go and have your coffee specially prepared and blended together at a coffee grind house, you cannot get a better cup of coffee. One cup, and I feel awake, and refreshed, ready to take on my day. I have had many different kinds of coffee over my lifetime, and folger's has always been a staple in my house, but this folgers, is by far, the best ive ever tasted, and the best on the shelf coffee i have ever purchased..... now if they would just make it in an 80 pack, it would be wonderful :)
I was surprisingly disappointed! I thought this blend would have more flavor and complexity, I usually like and enjoy the Folgers brand. This blend is flat, bland with barely any flavor, it's saving graces are that it is neither bitter nor acidy.
Pros: Not Bitter, Smooth Taste
Cons: Average, Boring, Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected

I was looking for a dark roast that would work well in a latte. I need a good strong flavor that can stand up to all that milk. I like Folger's coffee so I thought I would give this a try. The flavor is surprisingly weak for a dark roast. It is definitely not working for my lattes. If you are just looking for a nice smooth cup of coffee this is pretty good, but if you are a fan of dark roasts you probably won't like this one.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Not Enough Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this flavor in my normal coffee pot, but as a K-cup it comes out weaker than I would expect a dark roast. Its good though. Balanced, not acidic, and has good flavor, but expect it to be closer to a medium roast.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Not Bitter
Cons: Roasted Too Light
I would recommend this to a friend!
