Not the tea's fault

Rooibos is one of my favorite types of herbal teas, unfortunately this one is only passable. I think the problem, however, lies with the brewer not the tea. The Keurig brewer brews tea as if it's coffee. Good tea requires different water temperatures and steeping times than what the brewer offers. I tend to be picky about my tea. I will continue to use this for a quick tea when I am rushing out the door, but once I've used them up I'll only use the Keurig brewer for coffee. It just doesn't do tea justice.
My friend introduced me to this mild tea, I used to add sugars to other teas to cut the harshness that can sometimes appear , but with this African Rooibos by Twinings I add no sugar at all it is perfect as it is any time of day ~ Thanks
My husband and 6 year old son absolutely LOVE this tea. They both drink it everyday hot or over ice. If you like the Twingings Teas - you will love this different, but unique tea. We buy at least 6 to 12 boxes every 6 weeks, we go through this tea a lot!
I tried this mostly out of sheer curiousity - I knew it existed, but I'd never even smelled it before, let alone tasted it, and no one I knew had tried it. So, I was a completely blank slate. First off, if you're expecting the taste to bear any resemblance to other teas, don't. It's like nothing I've ever had before, and I definitely wouldn't use the word "tea" to describe its flavour. That said, it's pretty decent, and while not really my first choice, it's nice for a change when I want a hot drink and I'm tired of/not in the mood for tea or hot cocoa. Also, since I put sugar in all my teas, I tried that with this after taking a sip of it unsweetened. It really didn't take much sugar to perfectly balance an 8oz cup of this, roughly 1-1.5 tsp. Really made the taste nice and smooth.
