I've been drinking rooibos teas for years and was excited to find one in the K-cup but I have to say this has a terrible flavor...tastes like bug spray (ok I haven't actually tasted bug spray but it tastes like bug spray smells and would taste if you drank it!) Will stick with the decaf green tea for health benefits as I am addicted to that.
I was skeptical about this tea when ordering it. I am placing my second order, immediately. I love the aroma it gives off when brewing, add a very small amount of honey or sugar and it taste perfect.
At first I was excited to try this tea, because of the description of it. When I tried my first and last cup I was disappointed that it did not meet the description given. The tea has a rich red color, smells ok, but the after taste especially if it cools down at all is bitter. I won't be purchasing this tea again. Surely all are entitled to their own opinions, but I wouldn't recommend this tea at all.
I first tasted this on the recommendation of an internet friend who lives in South Africa, and loved it. I drink two cups a day and, no joke, my sistolic blood pressure has gone down 15 points
I purchased this in a sample box... :( My husband and I LOVED it!! 5 K Cups went way too fast!! lol I WILL be ordering the big box now!! This tea was a very smooth tea. I like mine on the 6oz size...Hubby likes his on the 8oz size. We DO add a little sugar. Just GREAT!! But, it IS hard to limit yourself to just 1 cup!! :)
Red teas are some of my favorite teas. The flavor of this tea doesn't let me down. However there is a rather odd scent that comes up from the tea that makes me not want to brew it very often. I only use clean, filtered water and have tried different mugs. It's a scent i've never come across in red teas before. The flavor beats out the smell but only by a little, I unfortunately won't purchase this one again.
Very smooth tea and ideal addition to babies food to prevent cholic. I prefer it strong because I am accustomed to it. For RedBush Newbies, try it with a bit of milk and a small amount of sugar.
