I do believe that you drink this tea because you know if it very good for you, a great anti oxidant. the taste is not the most pleasant, it's a bit earthy is my description, but I really don't care, as it's good for me! I'm not 5 anymore, LOL. I don't like any sweeteners in my tea, but I imagine that a bit of honey would be nice if you need to improve the flavor. I personally like it!
I will drink tea any time, but I especially like tea first thing in the morning. I'll have coffee later in the morning, but I don't need it to prop my eyes open like some of my friends claim they do. I drink all types for variety, mostly green, but also black, herbal, etc., so I tried a full box of the African Rooibos. Real simply, it's a quality tea. Full-flavored, unique, and different from anything that I can think of. You really must sample it for yourself because this is one I find hard to describe. Honestly, the flavor is not for me. I found it too woody for lack of a better term. That said, I finished the entire box, so it wasn't anything I found unpalatable, it was simply a flavor I didn't love, and there are too many I do. I suggest that if you like experimenting, and enjoy, say, Eastern flavored Chais, or even some of the exotic herbal mixes, and haven't tried the Rooibos, you give a box a shot.
