[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen was comfortable to hold as it has a foam grip near the base. The overall experience using the pen was pretty average. This pen does not compare to my favorite gel pen brand. The thickness of the writing tip was a thicker than I prefer. I prefer an extremely fine tip pen. The overall smoothness of the ink was smooth but not as smooth as I prefer. The ink dried in a reasonable amount of time however it did smear on certain types of materials especially if they had a glossy finish like greeting cards. Most gel pens smear on those surface types so it isn’t necessarily a defect in this pen. Overall this pen was comfortable and pretty smooth to write with. However I wouldn’t switch from my favorite brand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples ProGel Pen is a great retractable pen that I think is very comparable to a name-brand gel pen that I typically prefer to use. I do a lot of writing as part of my job and I am very picky about my pens. I actually bring my own pens to work because I don’t like the ones that they provide. The Staples pen writes very smooth and dries very quickly so it is not easily smudged. My favorite part is the ergonomic grip which is very comfortable and something that the name brand gel pen is lacking. At times I felt like the pen wrote a little thick but nothing that I found to be a problem. I will be interested to see how long the pen lasts compared to my usual pen; I’ve currently been using it for 2 weeks. I go through pens quickly at my job. I would definitely use the Staples pen in place of the name-brand pen and an added bonus is that Staples brand items are usually at a lower price point. If it does cost less I don’t feel that it is sacrificing quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on call for work quite a bit so find myself taking notes on any available scrap of paper. I have found smeared ink later that made it hard to read my notes. That is no longer an issue when I use the Staples ProGel Pen! I keep one in my backpack in the car and of course in my desk now. Of course since my coworkers have discovered how well they work I have to hide them to avoid them being stolen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the Staples Pro-gel pen. This pen is great quality and writes so smooth. The ink flows nicely to compared to other gel pens I have used in the past. The ink glides on with ease and seems to even make my handwriting better. I am very happy with the ink dry time as well. Other gel pens take some time to dry and smear afterwards. I have not had any smearing with 2 weeks of using this pen. The pen has a comfort grip making the pen feel nice to hold. I like the way the pen feels when writing the most.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples ProGel Pen is a formidable match for the name brand gel pens on the market. It's got a very comfortable grip that doesn't induce fatigue when using for extended periods. Writing with these gel pens is super smooth never skips and dries down very quickly. Overall the Staples ProGel Pen is great pen that is a great choice for any home or office needs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I did like using these pens. They did feel a bit bulkier than others I've tried but I don't think they actually are bulkier so maybe I was actually feeling a sturdier product?! I do think they write smoothly although it seems like it may be thicker than 0.7mm on some surfaces (though I definitely did not get out a ruler to check so again this was subjective). The drying time did seem quicker than other gel pens I've used which would be the reason I'd use them again over other brands since drying time with gel is so key to not making a mess of whatever you're working on with them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples ProGel pen is a smooth writing fast drying gel pen. I loved the way it feels as you are writing with it. It’s easy to hold with the cushioned bottom and glides smoothly across the paper no matter if you are printing or quickly scratching out a note or grocery list. The finer point and quick drying ink makes for a neat looking finished product. I especially liked how you could write a lengthy note without your hands getting fatigued.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a busy homeschooling Mom of 4 and I’m really organized and intentional about the type of pen I use in my every day. I’m really particular about the way that the grip feels and the gel ink writes. I like this pen specifically because the gel dries quickly. I use it to make notes in my Bible and find that the ink doesn’t smudge or run at all. I also use it in my written planner as needed and find that it writes really smoothly. I’ve used other gel pens in the past and now gravitate toward this pen. This might seem dramatic but I just don’t have time for a mess when I’m writing with pen (I often use just pencil) and I’ve been happy with this.
