Smooth write and comfortable grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher I’m always looking for a reliable pen with a smooth write that doesn’t run. This gel pen is it! While red isn’t my preferred color to correct papers in this red has a slightly pink hue which made the red appear less harsh - perfect for correcting first graders’ work and perfect for the holiday season! This pen dries on contact and glides easily while making a star on my students’ work. I would definitely purchase in additional colors!

Smooth and silky makes writing a pleasure

They make you happy to make a to do list or write your grocery list because they are so easy to hold and the output of pen to paper is seamless. For someone like me who loves to write these are the most perfect pen.

This pen writes so smooth and actually makes my handwriting look nicer. It glides with ease and dries quick. The look of the pen is classic and neat. Definitely Delivers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pen Bold Point 1.0 mm with blank ink through the Stellar Review Panel. I love a good gel pen and let me tell you this one definitely delivers! Outside of being excited this pen is retractable no bulky cap needed I was happy to see that the pen is transparent and allows you to see ink levels. It’s so frustrating to not know you’re getting low on ink and finding your pen not working during a meeting. I still prefer to take notes in a notebook so I found this pen not only comfortable in my grip during a 2-hour call but the ink flowed very smoothly and smudge-free as I wrote. I typically prefer a pen that’s very inky and wet but this pen allows me to take much cleaner looking notes. So far I’ve had no issues with the pen and would definitely recommend it to someone!

Glides like a dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow just WOW! This is my first time using Staples brand pens and I am kicking myself for not trying them sooner. The pen is great quality with a comfortable grip and weight to it. The ball rolls like a dream and made it made writing in cursive feel effortless with no skips or ink bleed. The gel dried instantly so there is no wait time or worrying about ink transfer. This is definitely one of those pens that you’ll want to keep put away so that no one walks off with it. I plan on buying these in every color!

The ink flows so smoothly making writing an absolute breeze. The gel dries quickly so no smudges even on glossy surfaces which is a big win for me. I used these pens to write a ton of birthday cards recently—seriously so many cards—and not once did the ink skip or dry out. The grip is comfortable too so my hand didn’t cramp even after writing for ages. The bold rich ink gives every word a professional and polished look which is perfect for special occasions or even everyday use. If you’re someone who values a reliable smooth-writing pen the Staples ProGel 1.0 is definitely worth trying out. Highly recommend!
