Comfortable and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are a game changer! They are so comfortable to write with for extended periods of time. The ink and ballpoint are super smooth and I have not had any jumps or problems with writing. I love the bold 1.0mm point as I feel it glides better than smaller point pens. I prefer to have a clicker vs a cap pen as I know it is closed when I click it instead of occasionally marking the inside of my purse or bag. The ink is consistent and does not thin as I write or even when it gets close to the bottom of the barrel.

Comfortable pen for everyday use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens Bold Point are super comfortable! The ergonomic grip is my favorite part of these pens. I love how comfortable it is especially while writing for long periods of time for meetings. The bold point is great for large writing. I tend to write very large and sign a lot of items so I loved this feature as well! I was really impressed with them and happy that they came in a 5 pack! Hands down my new favorite pens!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stales ProGel Pens are decent gel pens. They dry quickly so I haven’t had any smudging while writing. However I have noticed that at least two of the 5 pens in the pack don’t write smoothly. Drawing test lines show that the ink comes out a bit sporadically. Hopefully that will fix itself the more I use the pens!

Bold is better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the bold black pens and overall enjoy using them. I write a lot of messages for work so a good pen is essential. The bold pen has a nice grip to it - and writes with a nice thickness to the ink. My issue with the ink is it doesn't dry as fast as I'd like and I've smeared appointment cards and reminders when I'm working quickly. The ink flows a lot better than the fine point pens offered from Staples. I would definitely buy another pack of these.

They wrote very smooth and didn’t smear (even when my leftie daughter used them). It was a nice red color and the perfect fine point not too fine and not too thick.

Once using it it was very comfortable to use with the ergonomic grip and had a quick dry time reducing it smudging. I always like blue and other colored pens because it’s less likely to photocopy. Overall it’s an average product.

My office mates love these pens because they print everything (on Staples multiuse paper) and have to scribble illegibly all over them. The ink dries quickly so when they doodle incomprehensively on things and run to pass it through the scanner it doesn't smear or gunk up our scanner.

Every couple of years or so I buy a box of gel pens. They seem to disappear while the old ball point pens multiply in my desk. This year I bought the Staples brand to see how they are. They are identical to the more expensive pens!
