Bought this table as n inexpensive table for my son who is going to college in Chico. He needed a table for his kitchen and thounght this would be good for the price. Packed this in our truck and transported it to his place. We set the table up and it bowed upward from the middle. Hopefully it will flatten out so he can use it for a desk and table.

Better than I expected

I purchased this table in a Staples retail store. I was torn between this one and the 6-foot model and the store had both available. The 6-foot was very tempting because it's substantially lighter and smaller when folded and I'm pretty sure it would easily fit in the trunk of my car without folding down the rear seats. I had also read a review here that suggested that the 8-foot model did not have a carrying handle which seemed like a serious omission. But I needed a lot of space to work on a project so I decided to go ahead and go for the 8-foot model. I had to fold the seats down in the car to get it home but it's not an unreasonable size. Certainly easier to manage than a full 6-foot or 8-foot table that doesn't fold in half! I'm happy to say that the table worked very well for my project. Unfolded the surface is quite flat even at the center hinge so it presented no problems for me in arranging the stuff I was working with. The extra 2 feet were very welcome. And to my relief it does have a handle! I wanted to comment on the other reviewer's message to tell them that the handle is attached to a soft strap and is clipped up under the table. You have to un-clip it to pull it out. But the comment mechanism on this site requires you to sign in with Facebook which I won't do. Anyway the table's construction seems a bit lighter duty than some other brands I've seen which may be a factor if you expect to use it extensively or in rough environments. For my purpose it's fine and that construction I'm sure contributes to keeping the weight down for portability. All in all I'm satisfied with the table and glad I bought it.

This was just what I expected and just what I needed. It's big and sturdy easy to put up (no assembly required) and I'm happy with it.

This table is sturdy and easy to set up. It fits nicely in the hatch of my car and is light to carry with the built in handle. I expect it to last a long time.

These little tables are great for displaying small items and easy to move around. They fit into spaces where larger tables are just too large. The color is a nice neutral although I would like something less grey. Great little table for multiple uses.
