Staples accidently sent me two of these but I had a coupon so I bought the extra one too. These remind me of those TV trays from the 1970's except the useable rectangular top surface is slightly bigger thicker and better. I wouldn't put a lot of weight on them but they work well to use an ipad or laptop on to use as a reading table or to eat dinner off of in the living room. They don't stand as tall as a card table or computer desk which is why they remind me so much of the TV trays. The top is also easy to clean.
