This is basically the same size as those cheap wooden "TV Tray" tables that fall apart the first time you use them...but this is actually a fairly sturdy piece of foldable furniture. Slides under couch/bed easily when folded. A little unwieldy to release the bar that holds the desk at its height. Notches underneath the table provide about 5 or 6 different height settings.
I was looking for a desk but couldn't find the right thing online they were either not right or too expensive. I decided as a temporary measure I would get a folding table. I was going to go to the odd job lot and buy a cheap folding table but then looked at Staples. For not much more money I'm very happy with my purchase. not only does the walnut top look much nicer but it's a smooth surface for writing. This table is one long 6-ft surface the only thing that folds are the legs. It's a bit heavy so moving it around like you might a regular folding table is a bit more difficult but the sturdiness of it makes it a perfect work surface.
Had been using a folding plastic table for temporary WFH desk. Wanted something solid and wide since I use 3 monitors. Arrived quickly and for the price it’s a great table!
