I put them in my fire/waterproof file safe and use in my file cabinet to keep everything organized and can find things easier.

Inspect file folders before buying

The first thing I noticed was the incomplete slots for the tags. They were not cut out completely and many had to be opened up by hand. The other problem was that about five folders had the slots not centered across the top so the when the tags were inserted in the slots on one side they projected out too far under the file hanger which prevented use of the folder. I turned these folders end-for-end but this is not a completely successful fix as the slots don't line up with the good folders.

I have nothing but good reviews about this product. Even the tabs were made of heavy paper whcih enabled me to use markers instead of a pen.
