Staples vs Pendaflex hanging file folder

I recently purchased two boxes of Staples hanging file folders. I have always bought the ones made by Pendaflex. my store was out of the pendaflex ones so I purchased the Staples brand. Not only were they less than half the price but Pendaflex is now making it"s folders of a lighter weght material and the ones made with the Staples brand are almost identicle. I fail to see where the name brand "Pendaflex" warrants a price that is over twice that as Staples. Although it does come in better packaging than the Staples folders.
