Being that they are gel made some would worry about the smearing factor, but luckily they dry so fast it's life saving! You also can protect your finger against the pen with the durable full grip because we hate those "finger bumps" that can be caused by writing instruments. BIC Is definitely a competitive and trusted brand for me when it comes down to ink pens and these just put the icing on the cake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This past weekend, I received my free sample of Bic Gel-ocity Quick Dry Gel Pens, and I decided to try them out at church. My sons, who LOVE gel pens, wanted to know where they came from and if they could use them, too. Boys tend to be very messy - so it was such a relief that these dry so quickly that even my children couldn't manage to smear them! :) I told them that we got them for free and we needed to put these to the test and see if we liked them. Well - we are all in love. Great colors, easy to write with, and NO MESS!! We're sold!
