These pens are pretty consistent and write really well. The only knock I have is that it turns out that I'm not a fan of 0.5mm thickness. That's not on these pens but on me so I'll still give these pens 5 out of 5 stars. I'm sure if I would've bought the 0.7mm thickness I'd probably use them more.

I don't normally expect store brand products to surpass name brands but these TRU RED gel pens are fantastic! Not only do they write very smoothly they're also very sleek and modern in design. The weight of the pen is also very good.
