Only missing the Chicory

I like my coffee strong enough for the spoon to stand up by itself. This is pretty close. However, I'm disappointed that Emeril didn't add chicory to the blend. That would have made it perfect.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast

Perfect for cream lovers

I like a coffee that is bold enough to "hold-its-own" when cream is added. I have found that milder coffees often lose their coffee-flavor when cream or milk is added, but Emeril's Big Easy Bold blends perfectly with cream (even flavored creams) and retains a robust, non-bitter flavor. This coffee would definitely be too strong to drink black, but since I never drink black coffee, it is perfect for me! I add about 1 - 2 tablespoons of cream and just a tiny bit of sugar and ENJOY every sip! It has a wonderful aroma and I find drinking this coffee comforting yet energizing......a great way to start a cold, winter, Michigan morning!

Cons: Needs cream

To strong and way to bitter!

I got this in a sampler pack for Christmas and was excited to try it. I tried it a couple of times hoping it would taste better or the first cup was just a bad one, but no luck. It has a very bitter taste and not amount or cream or sugar helped. I would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't like bitter coffee.
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste

Big easy says it all!

Not really Bold and certainly not Easy!

Really no aroma when brewing this one. Although it does claim to be bold, like most dark/bold offerings I found it more harsh and bitter than bold. It tasted over roasted or burnt with a strong bitter/acidic after taste. The after taste really stays with you on this one. This is a very average cup of coffee.
