Worst k- cup! Do not buy!

Yuck! I love coffee and i received this in my k-cup variety pack from when i bought my keurig. I thought it would be yummy but i was wrong. This coffee is bitter and strong even when roasted with 10 oz. I never waste coffee but i couldn't drink anymore than a few sips because it had a very unpleasant taste. Save your money and go for donut shop or green mountain breakfast blend k cup instead.

Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor, Very bitter, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity

I found that this coffee has just the right amount of kick for the first cup in the morning. It's boldness is deceiving and someone not used to a bold coffee would find it bitter. Personally, I like a little bite in my bold coffee. I'm always trying other Kcups, but continue to buy Emerald's as one of my regular selections.

Disgusting!

I recently purchased a Keurig and this K-Cup was in the variety box that came with the brewer. I decided to pop one in on my way back to work from my lunchbreak. Big mistake. The smell while it was brewing was questionable (smelled burnt) but I figured it would taste better than it smelled. Boy was I wrong. I don't even know how to describe the taste, but it's horrid. Tastes like an ashtray to be completely honest. I now have a travel mug of gross coffee sitting on my desk that I will be pouring down the drain. Thankfully this was only 1 K-Cup, and I didn't waste my money on a whole box. Stay away from this one.

Taste like New Orleans Java

I love my New Orleans style coffee. I use my K-cup to brew Community coffee all the time. The Big Easy comes the closest to Community coffee and both are good representatives of New Orleans style java.. Deep dark roast and bold flavor. Not bitter or tangy in anyway. I am a fan of dark roasted coffee and The Big Easy blend fits that bill.

Absolute Favorite

I like coffe with rich but not harsh taste. Most dark roasts upset my stomach. Most light roasts do not have enough taste. This regular roast is very flavorful, GREAT aroama, "easy and intense" in a good way. Does not upset tummy either. I use it with a touch of cream.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma

NOT JUST A CUP OF COFFEE BUT AMAZING ON RECIPES THAT REQUIRE COFFEE. I WAS SURPRISED ... IF YOU LIKE THE CAFE PILAO AND ORIGINAL BRANDS OF LONG AGO FROM BRAZIL (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH HISPANIC BRANDS) AS IT WAS MADE MANY YEARS AGO WITH A CLOTH FILTER, WELL THIS ONE IS A TWIM WITHOUT THE WORK.

Brewed as a small cup, drank it black with a big country breakfast (biscuit, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, pancakes) brings out the sweetness in the coffee! Awesome! Do NOT pair with citrus, yuck! Will definitely buy more!
