When I was brewing this, my wife asked "has someone been smoking in the house?" Yes, this coffee has the aroma and taste of cigarettes.. not pleasant at all. Very bold, but not in a good way.
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought this would be awesome coffee since it has Emerils name on it. It is an average or slightly more than average coffee. I wouldn't buy again unless price went down. It maybe a pleasant coffee with not so suttle tastes but this isn't the wow I have an awesome coffee with Emerils name on it. This is a name brand and it is average.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast, Balanced Acidity

If You Like Rich Java You'll LOVE this!!

Great morning Wake-Up- This is the darkest, most flavorful of the 160 or so K-Cups we've tried. Unlike "French Roasts" this java is dark without the burnt, "roasted a day too long" flavor. If you brew two of these on 6 oz. of water setting, you'll never need espresso again. It's that good!
Pros: Dark But Not Burnt, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Not Bitter
Cons: None-it's Perfect

I have been drinking the Big Easy Bold coffee for some time now. I occasionally try other coffees but none have the bold coffee flavor and easy finish that BEB has.
