Threw away the box

My family loves bold coffee. I purchased this brand and found that it tasted exceptionally ashy and bitter. It gave three of the drinkers heart burn. I ended up throwing the rest away.
Cons: Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gives a great BAM! in the large cup size

It's been hard experimenting with different K-cups that deliver a good brew on the large cup setting of my Platinum, but Big Easy Bold is the best I've found. It's smooth, flavorful, and not watery.
Pros: Not Bitter, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Great for large cup size, Pleasing Roast

Muddy Sour and Bitter

Not so much a smoky flavor as a burned flavor. Sour and bitter notes mask any character. Taste like mud, and I say this even though I love a good strong and dark brew. Disappointing after reading such rave reviews.

Too much bang for my bucks

just plainly disappointed.I love bold coffee but this had bad aroma and very bitter.It was way tooooo bold to tame down.I love the aroma of fresh brewed coffee but did not get it here.Sorry folks I could not handle this one.

Almost as good as Dark Magic by Green Mountain. Perfect tasting strong coffee when brewed on large mug setting (9.25 oz.); Extra stong when set on 7.25 oz.

This is a bold coffee that isn't bitter and is very smooth. Stands up well to cream & sugar too.

after reading some reviews,I just wonder if everyone has a different coffee maker!dont know how one gets smooth out of bitter.Maybe its our "tasters" I buy the 5 cup sample that way if I am disappointed i dont have to throw away much.Just cant get by the smell,of which i know the coffee is fresh,but kind of smells like some thats been brewed for a while and sitting on a burner.
