I drink this black at the 8 and 10oz settings. I would not consider this a casual drinker's choice, it goes more with breakfast or a spiced dessert. When brewing the large cup, the acidity is more pronounced. It does have an ashy taste, so it all depends on whether you like that or not. I keep this on hand to rotate out with my other favorites.
Pros: Great with dessert, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is first time trying this coffee, and was surprised I actually like it. I never have had a bold coffee before and this was a nice change. The first thing that Hit me was the smell of coffee when I came back into the room where my coffee was brewing. I took a sip and was a bit to bold for me, added my sweetner and little bit of milk, and now I love it. Looking forward to trying more coffee's
Very surprised it was from Emeril. Brew was not good, very flat and tasteless, too weak.
Pros: Glad this was in a sample
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Unappealing Or Flat Aroma, Not Enough Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great For Iced Coffee Lovers

I mostly drink Iced Coffee and I tried all of the samples my Mother got for Christmas with her new Keurig maker (the largest one they manufacture) and this K-Cup was my favorite for Iced Coffee because the flavor still punches through the ice ,cream and sugar. This coffee may be to robust or hearty for the average consumer and may not appeal to the average joe drinker. It is a meaty drink but after drinking Iced Coffee every day since Christmas I still dream of getting a new supply of this particular blend from Emeril. At first sip I didn't like this coffee but the more I drink it the more I appreciate it's robust, meaty , almost direct flavor to the palette. Don't buy this coffee if you like lighter coffee blends or do not like a strong flavorful aftertaste. I love the aftertaste of this coffee, it's not diluted by adding ice ,cream or sugar. In my opinion from all the K-cups I have tried this one is my favorite.
Chicory was used in coffee during the American civil war because coffee was scarce in the south. In some parisian blends and southern pockets it is still used to make low quality coffee stronger. It is filler just like rice in beer.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Chicory, Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
