I have had my Keurig for a week and have been trying the different varieties. My preference is for extra bold. The Emeril Big Easy Bold is my favorite so far. I loved it so much I had to make myself a second cup...definate BOLD flavor buy very smooth. I'm waiting for my delivery of Green Mountain Dark Magic so I can compare it with Emerils.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body

The Best Extra Bold

When I registered our new Platinum machine I was able to select 4 boxes for the price of 2. I knew we liked the extra bolds so I decided to give Emeril's a try (I was skeptical that it was just a marketing gimmick). This is my favorite extra bold, it just makes a delicious, rich and satisfying cup of coffee. I will purchase this again.
Pros: Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma

Experimenting with the coffees for my new Keurig, I was thrilled to come across this one, as all the others I've tried are OK, but not "incredible" like Emeril's. This is very strong, but amazingly smooth and flavorful. Best coffee I've had anywhere, and I'm a coffee snob.

Muddy Sour and Bitter

Not so much a smoky flavor as a burned flavor. Sour and bitter notes mask any character. Taste like mud, and I say this even though I love a good strong and dark brew. Disappointing after reading such rave reviews.

Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Burned taste, Unpleasant Flavor

A little too dark for me

A solid dark for those that like heavy roasts, almost a burnt type flavor. On the bitter side for me.

the best k cup for real coffee snobs

this is my favorite of the k cups. It is the only one that doesn't taste watery on the large setting and is consistently pleasing in the morning.

Deliciously strong,without being bitter. Working nights, it get's my mid-day going perfectly. I Look forward to drinking it before going out the door for work, it's just the boost I need!
