After trying quite a few dif pods, we found Caribou to our liking. Now it's the 8 O'Clock. No probs with brewer and this pod, so far, but might stick that paper clip up there anyhow. Nice thing about the pods is that you can keep trying til you find your fave.
As a normcore connoisseur of gas station coffee, I've always liked this brand. Recently I purchased four boxes. Something has gone wrong. I thought my machine was breaking, and it's taken me a while to troubleshoot, but here is what I've uncovered through trial and error: These Eight O'Clock Cups vandalize your machine. Water does not pass through them quickly enough. So you'll be making a cup of coffee, and you'll see it's taking too long and there's a problem with flow, like an enlarged gland is impinging on the stream. It's a teeny tiny stream that will often stop even before your cup is full. Then a mixture of water and grounds will erupt from the top hole of your k-cup. These grounds will get into that top needle mechanism, and you'll need to use the paperclip trick (see Keurig's YouTube vid)to dislodge the grounds. The next cup you brew, of anything, will be full of floating remnants of Eight O'Clock grounds.
Honestly, this is the best cup of coffee I have found for the Keurig yet. Well balanced and smooth taste! I don't give many 5 star reviews but this cup definitely deserves it. I will be buying more of this next time I need coffee!
This K-cup does not work with our Keurig. The coffee does not brew properly, and it does not dispense. We've tried cleaning the machine, descaling, everything. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
