I like using these folders as I think that they make my filing system look organized and easy to see.

The red hanging file folders work very well in our filing cabinets. The 5 tab tops allow for many different headings.

We like using the different colored files on a yearly basis and it makes it nice to put receipts in them in a file cabinet. They are easy to use and are easy to organize with the 5 tab system.

Just check how weak their metal hooks are.

Staples replaced the "Staples" brand with "Tru Red" presumably just a re-branding exercise. The metal hooks in these folders are thinner than their competition and do not have as deep a corrugation so as to resist bending. As a result they: 1. Twist when you try to slide them and 2. Having a smaller area of metal in contact with the drawer rails (because thinner) they also resist sliding - preferring to twist instead. Pendaflex (also sold by Staples) and another competitor (who I must not 'advertise') both slide better and resist twist better. I bought the Staples brand in their local store and will not make that mistake again.
